Guided Trips

IMG_6640.jpeg

Location

Your trip will take place on one of the many west metro muskie lakes, including Lake Minnetonka. I will choose the lake based on the time of year, weather conditions, and your preferences.

Timing

Typically, it is best to be on the water early in the morning or late in the evening; Muskies are more active at these times. Early weekday mornings are my favorite due to low boat traffic. However, I am happy to work with your schedule.

Trips last 4 hours and may be extended to 6. I am very flexible, and we'll work together to figure out what timing works best.

Capacity & Transportation

I can take out up to two anglers in addition to myself at a time; one is just fine as well.

I meet clients at the boat landing of the lake after they park nearby. The boat will be in the water, and the rods will be ready for fishing. Once the trip is over, I will drop you off back at the same spot.

We will get the morning going on an 18-foot fiberglass Ranger Z518 with a 150 HP Mercury outboard. The Ranger is a very stable vessel; it has kept my son and I safe through hundreds of trips. And on top of that, it's an awesome boat. You'll feel like a fishing pro!

Equipment

I will provide muskie lures, rods, reels, life jackets, snacks, water, and sunscreen. I do my best to provide what I can so that all you need to do is show up for a shot at a muskie.

Here is what you should bring:

  • Current Minnesota Fishing License

  • Sunglasses (I recommend polarized)

  • Extra snacks & drinks

  • Dress for the weather
